The after party is almost always better than the show. Tiffany’s BASSFLUFF afters with the lights down low was no exception. The warehouse was packed with rabid fans coming straight from her sold out HALO tour stop at Don Quixote.

BASSFLUFF is the DJ side of Tiffany Day. She has done sets in gyms, a nail salon in New York, and a Boiler Room in London this spring. Saturday it was a DTLA warehouse and a rare laser appearance at 123.

Incredibly fun song selection. Everyone dancing. Her sets embody the new wave of nostalgia tinged internet era electro pop-timism that is dominating the electronic scene and my playlists. The energy is infectious.

I have kind of pretentious music taste, but her show made me realize sometimes what you really need is a heavy bass flip of Harlem Shake.

Tiffany Day is the definition of chaotic good. Top three show I’ve seen at this warehouse. Go to one of her shows and try not to have a good time, I dare you.
